I'm the only one in my family who uses an Android phone, and this wasn't a problem until I moved back home and got married. Now my Polo car is also used by my wife and father, so we constantly have to switch USB cables to connect different phones. Although I found many wired-to-wireless converters for Carplay and Android Auto, almost none of them supported both systems simultaneously. That's until I found the Carlinkit 4.0. After connecting the device, a login screen appears. You need to connect your phone to the device via Bluetooth and then follow the instructions on your phone. The connection is then complete!

Only had the Carlinkit for a week or so but it works just fine on my 2021 Camry hybrid - boot up/ connection time is not instant but it’s not that different to the hardwired connect - can’t really notice any performance difference so I’d recommend this kit - so much more convenient

I love just stepping in my car and having apple car play automatically come up with no wires, no button pushes, and flawless performance. Contrary to other reviews I've read in the press, I don't notice any lag. It usually pops right back to exactly which screen it was left off (whether carplay or the default toyota screen).

So far, it's working great. I previously had a BMW 330i with factory-installed wireless CarPlay, but this device is much better than the BMW's CarPlay. There haven't been any major problems. I've been using it for about three weeks, and it connects automatically as expected.
