When it comes to upgrading the firmware on a Carlinkit Tbox Plus, it is important to follow the instructions carefully to avoid any potential issues. The company strongly recommends against upgrading the firmware if the product is already working properly. However, if an upgrade is necessary, users should strictly follow the operating instructions to avoid any problems.
It is important to note that there are two different versions of the Carlinkit Tbox Plus: the 668 version and the 138 version.
Please check the version number on the back of the box.
1) “EM” stands for the “668” version
2) “EAU/JP/NA” stands for “Version 138”
These versions require different upgrade firmware and cannot be mixed. To identify which version of the device you have, users can either check the version number on the back of the box or navigate to Box Settings > Version > Autokit-Box Plus Version__X9-SCXXX. If the wrong version is used to upgrade the firmware, the product may not work properly and will require repair.
